1)HTC U11 Oreo Update
HTC has announced Android Oreo update for its device HTC U11 which started to roll out on 27 November. With this, HTC joins the growing list of smartphone makers rolling out Google's latest OS to their devices.
2)Honor 7X
Honor is set to launch the Honor 7X next week in London, but the company has already shared the availability details – at least for India. The smartphone will be available exclusively on Amazon.in in India and go on sale starting 12 noon on December 7. Registrations for Honor 7X are already open and the company is running several promotions that can help you win over 1000 prizes including paid trips, smartphones, power banks, and headphones.
3)Samsung Gear Fit
Samsung Gear Fit 2 Pro and Gear Sport have launched in India, the former is for Rs 13,590 while the latter is for Rs 22,990. Gear Sport will available on Amazon while Gear Fit 2 Pro will be sold by Flipkart and it will also be made available by Samsung. Pre-orders starts on December 4 while sales kick off from December 11.
4)Moto X Nougat Update
Two years old Moto X Pure Edition has finally received its Android 7.0 Nougat Update.It was March when we first heard about the possibilities of a Moto X Pure Edition Nougat update in the US. Motorola had just sent out emails inviting customers into a private soak test where they could provide feedback on the software before it was fully rolled out.
5)Datally App
Google has announced the launch of a new app to help users understand, control, and save on their mobile data. Datally tracks data usage in real time and gives personalized recommendations on saving data along with notifications of public Wi-Fi spots available nearby.
6)Instagram Regram Button
Instagram is testing a number of new features for its Android and iOS app, including the long-requested ability to “Regram” other users’ posts.Another significant feature that the publication spotted is an in-app GIF search for adding animated images to Stories or standard posts.
7)Google Home
In an update Google recently sneaked out, the Google Home has now been equipped with the ability to respond to two voice commands at once.Previously, the Google Home would only be able to address one command at a time, meaning you would have to wait for it to process your first request, and act on it, before you could ask something else. Now, you can say a phrase like “tell me what time it is and then what the weather is like?” and the Google Home should deliver answers to both.
8)Burger Emoji
Google has finally updated Burger Emoji in Android 8.1 where the cheese is finally back on top of the patty where it should be. Google also took the time to update the beer, beers, and cheese emoji as well. Both beer emoji now have beer all the way to the top of the stein with some froth on top. That makes a little more sense than the previously half-full stein with froth. The cheese emoji fixed where holes on the edge of the wedge had lines running through them.
