Google Maps app support iPhoneX's taller display
Google has finally started rolling out the updated Google Maps app for the Apple iPhone X. The app is now displayed taking the smartphone’s taller display and notch into consideration. The app’s user interface remains the same, but with the search bar now sitting higher on the display and the direction and information icons have shifted even lower, near the bottom.
Google has been steadily updating its apps for supporting the taller display and notch on the iPhone X. Google apps like Docs, Sheets, YouTube, Keep, and Slides have already been updated but many other such as Drive, Photos, Calendar, Chrome, Gmail, Google Search, and Gboard are yet to be updated. The updated app arrives nearly a month after the iPhone X was launched.
